Business Centre
The Business Centre is open 24 hours a day. A computer and printer are available. Please contact us for photocopying, binding, word processing, and access to our computers.
Change
You can change Euros and dollars at the Front office. For any other currency exchange, the Reception is at your disposal to indicate you a bank near our hotel. However, you can pay your bill with a foreign currency (EUR, USD), the change will be given in Swiss Francs.
Change of bed linen
In an environmental approach, the bed linen is changed every 3 days: however, you can ask for it to be changed every day by asking at our Reception.
Cheques
Cheques are not accepted in our hotel.
Cigars and cigarettes
According to Swiss law, smoking is prohibited in public areas and in rooms. We do not sell cigars or cigarettes.
Departure
On the day of your departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room no later than 12:00 am. If you are unable to do so, please contact Reception.

Do Not Disturb Sign
In order to respect your intimacy and peace of mind, we invite you to place The Do Not Disturb sign on your door. Telephone calls can also be blocked at your request at Reception. Please note: if you leave the sign when leaving your room, we will not be able to provide the planned services.
Electric current
The bedrooms and bathrooms are supplied with 220 volt electricity. To obtain an adapter, please contact Reception.
Emergencies
For any emergency, call Reception. The "Security" chapter will give you more detailed information.
Fire
In case of fire, please contact "Reception". For your safety, we would like to remind you that all the useful provisions are recorded in this guide under the heading "Safety". An evacuation plan is posted on the door of your room which we recommend that you consult.
Gym - Espace Forme
Accessible to all our customers, it is located on the 1st floor of the thermal center. For any information about our gym and our group classes, please dial 024 423 02 25.
Flowers
Reception will help you find a florist and assist you with your orders.
Hairdresser
Please contact the Reception desk for directions to the nearest hair salon.
Hair dryer
A hair dryer is placed in your bathroom.
Internet
In order to take advantage of the wireless connection offered to all our guests, you must select the hotel network.
Ice cubes
The Bar or Restaurant will be happy to give you ice cubes on request.
Irons and ironing board
An ironing room is at available on the 3rd floor.
Laundry / Dry Cleaning
Laundry service is available from Monday to Saturday. Clothes handed in before 08:45 will be returned the same day after 18:00. Clothes handed in after 9:00 am will be returned the next day around 5:00 pm. The bags provided for the laundry service are placed on the shelves in your room. Please fill in the corresponding form and hand in your laundry bag and completed form at Reception.
Lost & Found
Any item found is handed over to the Housekeeper, please contact Reception.
Luggage
Your luggage can be checked in free of charge at Reception on the day of your departure.
Mail / Parcels
The Reception is available for any mail or parcel shipment. There is a mailbox at the Reception. Mail is collected there every day, except on weekends and public holidays. Stamps and postcards are also on sale there.

Printed newspapers are available at Reception.
Parking

Pets
Small pets (dogs and cats only) are welcome in the hotel, but remain under your full responsibility. Please note that a supplement will be applied. However, they must stay in the room and will not be tolerated in public areas (bars, restaurants).

Pillows

Safes / Valuables
There's a safe in your room. The hotel management declines all responsibility for unsecured valuables and precious objects.
Shoe Shine
For the maintenance of your shoes, a polishing sponge is at your disposal in the bathroom or on request. If you wish to have your shoes shined, you can contact the Reception. Please do not leave your shoes in the corridor.
Shuttles
A shuttle service is available between the hotel and the train station of Yverdon-les-Bains for 5.00 swiss francs per person (free of children under 15 years old). It can be booked everyday at the reception desk (subject to availability).

4 – SECURITE
Your safety
In the event of an emergency, the five minutes it takes to read this section now may be a good investment.
The fire exits
The fire exits on your floor are clearly marked, but if there is heavy smoke you may have difficulties locating them, so please take the time to observe the following points:
- Count the number of doorways between your door and at least two emergency exits.
- Check the location of fire extinguishers and alarms in the corridor of your floor.
If you find a fire
- Activate the nearest fire alarm.
- Call the hotel Telephone Operator by dialing “Emergency".
- Leave the building. If possible take your room key with you.
- Close door(s) against the fire if able to leave your room.
If a fire starts in your room
- Evacuate your room immediately… Take your room key.
- Close the windows, the balcony door and the entry door securely behind you.
- Activate a fire alarm and call the hotel Telephone Operator on the nearest phone on the elevator landing.
- Notify your immediate neighbors.
- Walk to safety via the emergency exit
- Do not use the elevator!
If evacuating upon hearing fire alarm
Should the fire alarm sound, and you receive the instructions to evacuate, evacuate immediately.
- Take your room key, and move cautiously.
- Feel the door and handle with the back of your hand. If the door handle is hot or abnormally warm, do not open it. If the door is not hot, open it carefully, but be ready to close it immediately if necessary.
- If there is smoke in the corridor, stay as low as possible. Crawl on hands and knees if necessary.
- Proceed to the nearest emergency exit, where you will be met by a member of staff who will take you to the hotel evacuation point.
- Do not use the elevator.
- If your exit is blocked, go back to your room or to the roof.
- Stay calm and always hold the handrail.
If you must remain in your room
Do not panic. You can stay in your room and still survive a fire. Here are some things you should do while awaiting rescue:
- Fill the bathtub with water. (As a water reserve only)
- Phone your location to the hotel Telephone Operator.
- IStuff wet towels and sheets around door seals and air vents.
- If smoke still enters your room, make a tent over your head with a wet blanket.
- Open the balcony door.
If you require special assistance
Due to personal physical limitations, advise the hotel reception personnel upon check-in or as soon as possible afterwards, in order that special arrangements can be made.
Remember
Most fatalities occur from inhalation of smoke and poisonous gases, not from burning. If there is any smoke present at all always stay as close to the ground as possible. Never use the elevator.
It may never happen to you
You may never need to implement this advice, but since you should always be alert for the unexpected, be diligent and always note exits and emergency procedures of any high-rise building which you enter.
Your security
Although the style of lock on your guestroom door may vary from hotel to hotel, most lock-types are fitted with an additional security bolt. This bolt is activated from inside your room. It is recommended that you use this feature whenever you are in your room, especially upon retiring.
Your valuables
We regret the hotel cannot be responsible for valuables left in your room. Safes are available in all guest rooms and suites.
